Mermaid

This piece was inspired Ariel from the little mermaid and one of my favorite fish the lionfish. I tried to imagine her adorned with all the little man-made trinkets she would collect from shipwrecks strewn across the ocean floor.

Chun Li

Did this for a bit of fun. I've always thought it odd that Chun Li from Street Fighter would wear nylons to fight in and they never seem to get damaged.

Hear no Evil, See no Evil, Speak no Evil

Recently completed this tryptic for my featured gallery show.  Our show title and theme was "Demented" and the age old saying "Hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil" came to mind; combine the two and this is what I came up with .  I don't usually do morbid work anymore but it was fun getting back into the dark side of things for a change.

Red Head Barbarian Babe

I had fun experimenting with some new techniques on this piece. Done in Sketchbook Pro.

Childrens book hiker

I did this while thinking of my late father. He loved camping and while sketching one day this just came out. It's supposed to symbolize his ascent from the darkness into the light in the afterlife. It's not a literal likeness of him but it was a therapeutic exercise in a childrens book style.

Color experiment

This is a quick experiment in a coloring technique and texture painting. Inspired by the "Living Armor" spell found in Magic the Gathering by Wizards of the Coast.

Masks

Commissioned latex mask designs for a special effects company. Of the 20 plus or so sketches the "cream of the crop" are compiled at the top.
