I did this while thinking of my late father. He loved camping and while sketching one day this just came out. It's supposed to symbolize his ascent from the darkness into the light in the afterlife. It's not a literal likeness of him but it was a therapeutic exercise in a childrens book style.
I am so touched by this beautiful tribute to our father, and you are wrong...there is a likeness. I love the symbolism of going into the light. You hit the nail on the head little brother. Awesome....
